This series was built around the idea of players being made of Liverpool. Not just representing the club, but shaped by everything that comes with it — the ground, the city, the history and the people.

Each portrait started clean and simple, then we began layering in elements that feel instantly recognisable — Anfield, the Kop, the skyline, small architectural details — all sitting within the players rather than around them. The aim was to make it feel like those things aren’t separate, but part of who they are.

It’s a balance between portrait and storytelling. Keeping the strength and presence of the individual, while building something that carries a bit more meaning when you look closer. The kind of image where the detail reveals itself over time, rather than hitting you all at once.

More about identity than kit or moment — trying to show that connection between player, place and club in a way that feels considered, not overworked.
